- Any health-related information you voluntarily provide in a message (this is treated as special category data)

- To send you appointment reminders or aftercare information (where you have consented)

- Legitimate interests, to respond to enquiries and improve our services

Where we process special category data (health information), we do so under Article 9(2)(h) of the UK GDPR, for the purposes of preventive or occupational medicine, medical diagnosis, and the provision of health treatment.
4. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to improve your experience. We use:
- Essential cookies, required for the website to function (e.g. your cookie preference)
- Analytics cookies, Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our site (only set after you give consent)
- Third-party cookies, Google Fonts and Google Maps may set cookies when you visit our site
You can withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time by clearing your browser cookies and declining when the banner next appears.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Formspree, our contact form processor (processes form submissions)
- Google Analytics, anonymised website usage data
- Faces Consent, our booking platform, which processes appointment data under its own privacy policy
- Map My Mole / Miiskin, where you undergo our mole mapping service, photographs of skin lesions and related clinical data are submitted to Map My Mole's platform for review by UK consultant dermatologists. This transfer is made under a data processing agreement and in reliance on Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR (medical purposes). Map My Mole operates its own privacy policy.

6. Data Retention
We retain client records for a minimum of 8 years from the date of last treatment, in accordance with NHS and professional body guidelines for medical records. Enquiry data from the contact form is retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of pre-treatment enquiry data at any time.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access, request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification, correct inaccurate data
- Erasure, request deletion of your data (subject to our legal retention obligations)
- Restriction, limit how we process your data in certain circumstances
- Portability, receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object, object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent, at any time, where processing is based on consent
